C0ACH EDUCATION INFORMATION
Evening 1
Thanks to those Coaches, Managers and parents who recently attended the Junior Licence Coaching Course. The course was presented by Gary Lockwood who is an accredited Football NSW Instructor and currently hold his Senior Licence. The course was practical in nature presenting many interesting ,motivating and educational drills for coaches to use with their respective teams. As a follow up to this Coaching Course, Coaches now have an opportunity to come along to an informal educative discussion evening with Gary Lockwood that aims to:
- Introduce and discuss current concepts for team playing structure for 11v11 teams (Junior and Senior)
- Present and describe the role of each player within this playing structure with a view to assisting Coaches to better prepare their players to play in position
- Variations to team playing formats
- Address other related issues or areas of team play and philosophy that Coaches may like some direction around.
- All Coaches welcome to come along and help solve the mysteries of Football (Attendance to our recent Junior Licence course not a pre-requisite!)
This evening will be held at Woronora Heights Oval on Monday 7th June , 2010 commencing 7pm and may also include some practical demonstrations, so wear your running shoes and join in the fun!
