WET WEATHER PROCEDURES

As winter approaches we look forward to the challenges that lie ahead with our football season. At times however some of those challenges are presented in the form of wet weather and subsequent ground closures.

If it has been raining it is wise to check our wet weather phone line to see if the grounds are open. Our number is 9990 5168. We will try to update the message at our earliest availability. We will also try to get an email and / or SMS to our coaches and managers as quickly as possible whenever the grounds are closed.

The Council also has a wet weather contact number (9710 0105). Although this will give a good indication of our position it is appropriate to check the Bosco FC number as localised issues have, at times, necessitated the closure of some grounds when Council have advised that they are open.

Please remember that when Woronora Heights ovals are closed that means Boys’ Town grounds are also closed.
